Activity in European Programs
- _Participation
in a number of European projects (TEMPUS, ERASMUS, Jean
Monnet etc,) as well as projects of the Community Support
Framework (Member of the coordinating committee of the Selective
Studies Program: Innovative Technology Applications of the TEI
of Thessaloniki, Scientific coordinator of the Department’s
curriculum development).
- 2008-2010: Research Program of the Research Committee of ATEI, Member of the research group of the project entitled: "Factors affecting the competitiveness of agricultural food and beverage companies in Northern Greece", financed by the Research Committee of the TEI.
- 2008-2010: Research Program of the Research Committee of ATEI, Member of the research group of the project entitled: "Collective action, innovation, profiles of young farmers. The case of the prefecture of Kilkis", financed by the Research Committee of the TEI.
- 2006-2007: Member of the Working Group e-businessforum to explore the “Electronic-business in SMEs in the food and drinks sector”, co-financed by the European Union.
- 2004-2007: Member of the research group of the project Archimedes entitled: "The contribution of the agrotourism women cooperatives and businesswomen in local rural development", co-financed by the European Union.
- 2005-2006: Member of the research group of the project “Pythagoras” entitled: "Female entrepreneurship in the landscape: position, policies, perspectives", Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, co-financed by the European Union.
- 2002-2004: Scientific coordinator of the research project entitled: "Study on the Internet use by businesses and organizations in the rural area", financed by the Research Committee of the TEI.
- 2002-2004: Scientific coordinator of the research project entitled: "Field research of the ICT adoption by livestock farmers in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki", financed by the Research Committee of the TEI.
- 2002-2003: Member of the research group of the project entitled: "Investigationoftheresearchprojectsfinanced and implemented between 1995 and 2002", financed by the Research Committee of the TEI.
Activity in European Programs
- 2001-2004: Programme Socrates (Intensive Program)
Participate as a partner, along with other members of the teaching staff of the Board of the Farm Management Department, in the Intensive Program entitled: "Sustainable Agriculture and Water resources: European Comparison". The program was approved by the European Commission and funded by the SOCRATES partners with many European universities and university recipients of Bulgaria and Romania, where the Chameleon iPortal a partner.
- 2000-2001:
Programme Socrates «Agriculture, Environment and Sustainable
Management of Resources» (Project 28314-IC-2-2000-1-Fr-Erasmus-PROG-1)
Participate as a partner, along with other members of the teaching staff of the Board of the Farm Management Department, in the organization and implemantation of a curriculum entitled: "Agriculture, Environment and Sustainable Resource Management". The program was approved by the European Commission and funded by the SOCRATES partners with many European universities and university recipients of Bulgaria and Romania, where the TEI of Thessaloniki, a partner.
- 2000-2001: Balkan Network on Agricultural and Food Sciences (Project Tempus NP-15046-2000)
Participated as a partner, along with other members of the teaching staff of the Board of the Farm Management Department, in the creation of a “Balkan Network on Agricultural and Agri-food Science". The program was approved by the European Commission and funded by the TEMPUS partners with many European universities and university recipients of Albania, Bosnia - Herzegovina and FYROM, which aims to strengthen regional cooperation and the reform of higher education in recipient countries.
- 2000-2001: Graduate Program: Project Tempus CD_JEP-15061-2000
Participation as a partner in the graduate program entitled: "Rural Administration and European Studies" (organized by the graduate, teaching students of Albanian, Albanian teacher education with visits to the TEI to continue the program at the end of it). The program is funded by the TEMPUS with partner the TEI (Farm Management Department) and 14 European universities and other stakeholders and beneficiaries of the Agricultural University of Tirana and the University of Korca.
- 2001-2002: Programme JEP_Um-13486-98 Tempus – Phare Participation in collaboration with University College Dublin, on the program funded by the European Union, entitled: "Introduction of new curricula on agricultural applications at two universities in Albania, the University of Korca and the Agricultural University of Tirana”. The Farm Management Department was coordinator of this program.
